The Yellow Tower is the third chapter of Phantom Mansion: Spectrum of Souls.
This game introduces Floor Patterns and The Cross. If the floor is red, it kills Hector but after picking up the cross, the floor turns white and uncursed. The Cursed floor reappear along with the cross in The Black Sanctum.

The Yellow Tower is probably based on religion since the red floor look like devils and the white floor looks like clouds. The floor also gets uncursed when picking up the cross.
It's possible to walk on the cursed floor in The Shrine without dying. This is also the only time where another item appear besides The Mask.
